St. Louis?

Rachel, your post is very ironic because the main thing on my mind right now is whether I should move to St. Louis or not! Funny!

The good news is: I got accepted to a PhD program in English there (at St. Louis University). The iffy thing is whether I want to go for it or not.

Our times there probably wouldn't overlap, and I shouldn't read too much into signs, but it's funny!

Meet me in St. Louis

We're moving to St. Louis.... for the next two months, that is. Scott will be acting as the interim manager at one of CFA's stores in St. Louis from March 10-May 5th-ish. So, this weekend we're packing up our van and heading North, once again. My family only lives a few hours away so the girls and I will probably spend a good amount of that time with them, even though CFA will be getting us a furnished apartment in St. Louis.

I heard IL just got another dumping of snow, though. I'm not too excited about going back to cold weather. I'm quite enjoying the Atlanta temps!

it's been a while

I haven't posted in a long while, so I thought I'd give a quick update...

We've moved to Atlanta, GA. Scott got a new, really great job! We've decided to rent our house in Virginia Beach and we are currently living in Scott's parent's basement until we find a new house in GA. I'm teaching 2 courses this Spring at Regent (online).

Oh, and here's our family picture from Christmas. Lily has blond hair and blue eyes like my sister. Such a change from when she was first born.

Better things for the Paparazzi

On Friday Jared and I were driving Randall to the 11th annual cookie party. I can't exactly recall how it happened but we got on the subject of the paparazzi. Randall then said, "The paparazzi shouldn't go after The Royals, they should go after the public...(long pause)...like Isaiah and Elise, and Ben and Simone...for having three kids."
