am currently obsessed with...
1. Moleskine journals. because I started noticing the use of them. According to their website, Da Vinci, van Gogh (his Moleskine is pictured left), Picasso, and Bruce Chatwin used them. According to my brother-in-law Dave, both he and Rob Bell use them. According to their website, "moleskine is a family of notebooks for different functions, according with a free mindstyle, both basic and emotional." for example, the main character in National Treasure uses a Moleskine... because, apparantly, he's cool like that. check them out at www.moleskine.com
2. my new cruiser bicycle I bought for $99 off of Amazon. It rides like a dream (and I didn't even know I liked bikes!)
3. Amazon.com apparantly, you can even buy bikes!
Question for blog friends? What are you currently obsessed with?

Matt, pretty cool stuff making paddles. So ya like the spandex, eh?
1. Eli's belly (good one, D) - it is still as boyant as ever
2. Reading Beverly Lewis novels (the secret is out! Ahhh!)
3. Throwing up. Not fun, really.
4. I too love my bike and the speed at which it can go. I even named him.
3:03 PM
Karen,
I mean a grandma-esq bicycle that rides high, only has one speed, and has a sweet wicker basket on the front.
Simone- what did you name your bike?
3:08 PM
I'm obsessed with being wittier than all of my students. My favorite thing to do is to listen to all their trendy bantor and then use it at appropriate times.
For example. I might say about the dialogue we are doing tomorrow, "Man, it's gonna be live up in this place, tomorrow. You know what I'm sayin' cuz? You're my dog kinfolk!"
Lots of fun.
Also, Frostys from Wendys. We now live just a few blocks away.

Who's Rob Bell? Famous Hollander?
2:40 PM
Karen, I love that you just asked who Rob Bell is. It's nice to keep things in perspective.
He's a pastor in Grand Rapids or something.
8:02 PM
Hey Karen!
Yeah- Rob Bell is a pastor in GR. I really like him. He's got a couple of great books, "Velvet Elvis" and "Sex God" (intriguing egh?). I like to listen to his talks because it's such a new (for me) perspective.
On another topic- I ran into Chrissy at the Good Earth on Saturday and she told me specifically to say hi to you and Simone. So HI FROM CHRISSY!
