Lyrics

Hi guys. I'm trying to remember the words to a gospel choir song. I feel like there was one with the phrase "my life is in your hands". Anyone remember the rest of it? It seems like all I've heard from the Lord in a week and I want to grab hold of it.

Mike's at an interview now for a computer job. He also has a meeting with the detective doing his background check for Southfield Monday morning at 8am. We would love to work there. Pray, fast, please. He said she sounded mean and is wondering if she's a lesbian. I feel weird writing that, but it seems like spiritual attack that she would be the person evaluating him. There's also a gay and lesbian community center opening on mainstreet in Ferndale nearby that Jennifer Grandholm came to bless. It seems that lifestyle has become tons more acceptable just in the last few years to the general public. I want to love the people, but they can't be in charge of our communities. It seems a bunch are coming through for foster care and adoption too lately and it's my job to say if they're O.K. and I can't say "no" based on that.

We will pray Karen. We love you and pray for much success in all areas of your life.

And Mike, I want to talk to you! I want to hear some more stories about you!

Lord,
I pray that you would protect Karen and Michael from spiritual attack...and that your will would be done for Michael's job as a police officer. Bless him with a good job that fulfills his desires and let your favor be on him. Bless Karen with wisdom, discernment and the supernatural ability to know and do your will in her job. Let those kids be put with good families and protected from spiritual assault.
Amen

You don't have to worry
And don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning
Troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

Oh
I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

So when your tests and trials
They seem to get you down
And all your friends and loved ones
Are nowhere to be found
Remember there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if you heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

Oh
I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

Remember- when you sing "who will wipe your tears away" to pronounce it "awhaaaaaay".
And "no matter what may come my way"- over-emphasize the "t" in "what'".
I'm remembering Darnisha's special instructions.
