Nebraska two-stepping and Dodge Chargers
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN!!!!!!!!
Wow- 27 glorious years! (the picture is Missy super-geek saying Happy B-day to ya) I have just returned from my cousin Pam's wedding in Omaha, Nebraska and it was a trip (I learned how to country two-step!! Karen is sighing right now) My cousins and I flew into Omaha and rented a car. They gave us a brand new Dodge Charger with 17 miles on it. That was cool- but what was REALLY COOL was when we pulled into the parking lot of our hotel and discovered that there was a Charger Convention going on. Yup- tons of old guys with their old, Dukes-of-Hazard-like Chargers. When the brand new Charger pulled in the parking lot- they started pointing, thumb-raising, cheering-- basically, my cousins and I were getting (in the words of Gladys Knight) R-E-S-P-E-C-T! We rolled down the windows, honked, and lived the life of heroes. Then we went to Pam's wedding and reception and danced, danced, danced! I could've showed Benjamin up I was dancing like a mad fool. Oh life.

Melissa, where WAS that picture taken? Is that recent? I am so glad you had fun at the wedding.
Well, I guess I am a year older than you now! I shall revel in it for a few days, anyway.

That awful picture was taken last spring. We had a staff vs. student Quiz Bowl competition-- a perfect excuse to dress up!
