Fun in the sun!

Here are some fun pictures of the boys messing around outside the apartment. While you are cold, we are having fun in the sun!

I'm totally jealous of you both. It's 20 degrees here, and no snow. And just when the weather predicts some kind of precipitation, it warms up just enough to give us rain. I want a snow day!!!

Benjamin, first of all the pictures are beautiful. Second, I'm in the same boat as Flot. It's either far too cold to snow, like this week, or just when the weatherman predicts a nice snow storm, it is miraculously averted at the last minute. I am quite displeased with how this winter is playing out on the east coast.

Ahhhh, the warm Texan sun, two beautiful little boys, and great friends... Austin sounds wonderful! But winter in Michigan is also nice. Some highlights:
#1. to reiterate Matt, we have not been to work in a WEEK!
#2. last night I blew the fuse to our electicity (twice!) because Jared had put the space heater in the sneaky room so our PIPES WOULDN'T FREEZE, and I ran my hair dryer at the same time.
#3. My car and Denise's car each got a flat tire because of the road conditions, and we randomly ended up at Discount Tires at the same time.
#4. Even church was cancelled on Sunday.
#5. I get to wear really great boots while I brush ever-falling snow off my car and kick the snow out from my (new) tires.
#6. A week off of work. Ahhh winter in Michigan.

I would just like to say I got two and a half days off of school combined with a day off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January.

For ice. Then it melted.

Let's just say that while I was helping people scrape the ice off of their cars, certain people looked at my strange plastic wand with bristles and said, "What is that thing?" They then would watch in wonder as I used it to scrape their cars.
