It's beginning to look at lot like... uh...
Christmas is coming here, as well. Although one couldn't tell from Saturday. We were perusing rows of Virginia Pine at a Christmas tree farm amidst a throng of shorts-clad Texans who were completely unaware of what proper Christmas trees should look like (much less what they look like with snow on them) when I noticed people were cradling ice cold Cokes in place of hot chocolate. Something is wrong with that.
In a weird way, I miss how my hand used to freeze when I actually took my glove off to grasp the saw I would use to cut the tree.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
let your heart be light
From now on, our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourslef a merry little Christmas
make the Yule-tide gay
from now on, our troubles will be miles away.
Here we are as in olden days,
happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us will be near to us once more.
Through the years we all will be together
if the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bow.
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.

Actually, ICE was spotted in Central Texas last night! Ahh! Wow! Today the BREAKING NEWS is that it will get below 30 degrees! "Batton down the hatches! Watch those water pipes! Run the water constantly! Wear big, fat, thick coats!" the news shouts out! It feels like winter now that it has loamed at 30 degrees. No worry, I am sure next week will bring back the 70s.

I just heard the news! Hahaha! The University of Texas has just closed until late tomorrow morning! They are freaking out at the chance of a slight freezing rain!

I still don't understand why you guys are upset. It's so cold here that I ache and it's making it quite cumbersome to move my stuff across town. For the first time in my life I'm starting my car, going back inside and coming out when it's not so painful.
