A preview for Cadence

My grandpa LaBarge (as a 16 year old in St. Louis) was told by his best friend, Bob Keany, that the good looking girls were in Holland, Michigan. They hopped in their car, met 2 cute 14 year dutch girls, and eventually married them. In that spirit...

CADENCE-
Here is a preview of the goods in Michigan. We've got blonds, brunettes, redheads... leaders, followers, super shy, super fly... cinderellas, belles, ariels... pink fans, purple fans... athletic, clumsly... roly poly, long-and-lean... dolly lovers, dora lovers, daddy lovers, mommy lovers, aunt missy lovers... Can it get any better (or cuter)?

aHH! I remember that story about your grandpa! Great writing Missy. Cadence is very into calling women "pretty" and he often tells ME, "Mommy, you are a princess!" Ben continues to encourage him to tell girls with that loving, sweet smile, THAT - which they long to hear.

Ha ha- my nieces are princesses. Today, my sister Carrie helped me chaperone a fieldtrip to the Ford presidential museum for ALL 70 of my government kids. She brought Raleigh- who my students loved and was an angel the entire time. So- I bought her an American flag from the bookstore and she waved it around. It was great!

i love that Cadence calls Simone a princess. the son of a baptist pastor i know is a cutie pie of about 6. he was always shy and wouldn't look at me though his mom said he was a pistol and was their greatest trial. when i told her i didn't believe her she said that he's totally different with
"pretty ladies"
