Marathon-ing
Hey all. I talked with Sandy at the Naturally Supernatural Conference (best I've ever been to, by the way) a couple weekends ago. She and Becky (?) were planning to run in Chicago. With the warm snap and all the news coverage about heat stroke I'm wondering if they went and how it was. Anyone know?

Yes, Sandy was caught in the mayhem. She, along with everyone else, was stopped in the middle of the race by police officers who instructed them to walk back. She registered for the Grand Rapids marathon in a couple of weeks. Her training will not be in vain but she still has a bone to pick with Chicago.

It seems they had good reason to stop the race. Emily Semer was there, too.

Yeah. The guy who died was a cop from Michigan, but I guess they found out later that he had an undetected cardiac problem.
