Official Launch
Hey everybody, today is our official launch of the Rachel Henderson Photography website. Woo-hoo! The site has been up for a few months, but has been sort of under construction and not totally presentable. Now it's re-skinned with Rachel's new logo and colors, and we're pretty pleased with how it looks. But mostly what makes it a great site is Rachel's amazing pictures.
So, anyway, we thought we'd share with yall and invite any feedback you have. Also, if any of you have blogs or websites and would like to link to Rachel's site, we'd really appreciate it - the more links the better our Google rankings!

rachel, your photos are lovely! is the site just a reel of photographs, or was i supposed to find links to "contact the artist" and such?

Thanks! I really appreciate encouragement.
Above the photographs is a bar with a bunch of different links to info, artist and more portfolio. I just contacted my IT guy (Jared) and he is going to see if there is a bug that was causing your computer not to see those links.

you can't see the whole site at resolutions lower than 1024x768. that being said, i built the page a little funky which actually makes it impossible for people with really small screens to scroll up and see the links. i'm going to fix this soon.
in the meantime, check it out on a computer with a slightly larger screen resolution, and it should work just fine.

ok. problem fixed. you should be able to scroll around now within an 800x600 resolution window and see the whole site.
still, it looks better on 1024x768!

Hi! I don't have your email, but I want to contact you to see if you still have family in Lima. My friend may stay a few months in Peru this fall, and I would love the possibility of setting him up with a connection when he visits Lima. Let me know if this is a possibility:)

thanks jared! unfortunately, not much can be said for my home or work computer. thanks for adjusting the site for the sake of the perpetual, however not intentional, computer re-re's. hopefully soon i'll have the funds to upgrade!

That's great! The site looks professional and is easy to use. I like the background music and most of all, the pictures! Rachel, I love your close-ups. They catch the things that I'd zoom in on myself - beautiful and captivating.
