little girl names???
Scott and I are having the hardest time coming up with a little girl name that we both agree on. He likes the names with strong consonants and 2 or more syllables, whereas I like names with softer vowel sounds (generally) and I like the short names, too. He doesn't think one syllable names sound good with Wozniak--but then again, it's not exactly a name that "goes" well with anything. The one downfall of marrying a Polish! ;) Anyway, I know I'm really asking for it by seeking out suggestions for girl names that you all like, knowing well that I'll get quite an array of some joke names...; however, if you have any suggestions, I'd be interested to see what you have to say. The only thing that would have been easier about having a boy this time 'round was that we had a boy name already picked out from last time. Now the girl name hunt is on!

I think lots of names go well with Wozniak. Although I might agree with shooting for a two or three syllable name.

Missy and I were watching an old movie tonight in which one character was named Flora. We though that it was pretty.
Jared just suggested "Frankincense".

Flora is pretty... Frankincense-though a biblical word, sounds a little too much like Frankenstine.
But thanks for the suggestion, Jared. Right now our fav' name is Lily, but we're not sold on it yet. Still weighing out all the options. :)

My only advise is to say the whole name out loud repeatedly. Before we knew we were having a boy I though Aurora was a cool girl name that could be shortened to Rori. However, if you try saying Aurora Morrish or Rori Morrish, you see how cumbersome it can be. Unfortanately we didn't say Ethanael's name enough to realize it sounds like Ethanol. I think that was pointed out in the first 24 hours. Oh well.

I like Lily - Kind of like Emily, which is a name I really like.

Good idea, Karen. I'll keep that in mind. And Benjamin, I like the name Emily, too, but I think it was the #1 or #2 most popular girl name for 2005, so I'm trying to find not only a name we like but hopefully one that not every other little girl her age will also have. Unfortunately we didn't realize until after we had settled on Abigail that it was #10 on the most popular name list for her birth year. Oh well.I still love that name. :) Lily is becoming more popular, but so far it's still our top pick at the moment. (Or at least one that we both agree on).

I love the name
SIMONE.
Good, unusual, solid name.
I once knew this girl in college with the name and she blew my socks off. Yeah. Again, good name.
