Books?

Right now I am in the middle of Mark Twain's "Roughing It". I think that he is one of the most intelligent and funny authors out there. I just read a section about his very politically incorrect impression of the Mormons. He had me laughing out loud.

I am looking for a good book to read after this. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I just finished reading "Black" by Ted Dekker and am now on to "Red." It's in the category of what I like to call "mind-less fiction," (as in, it doesn't really provoke or require any real thought) but it's a fast paced read and very entertaining! It's nice to escape away into it for a few hours. :)

Has anyone ever heard of a book called John Adams? It's really good.

Another good biography: Bono in Conversation, which you can borrow if you want.

I just finished Evening Class by maeve binchy. She wrote circle of friends. She has great characters and it's set in Dublin (I've got a soft spot for Ireland). It eludes to sex (lets face it we want to know if it's happening or not) but there are no wraunchy details, perfect. Also good mindless fiction are Mary Higgins Clark books. They're mystery/suspense. I've been reading a lot this summer because I don't have friends yet.

I am presently reading Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Dole and am very disturbed about the fact that Sherlock Holmes has a little habit of doing cocaine. Bizaare!
